Cardified

About

Cardified makes a page for you: a photo, a name, and a few large buttons pointing wherever you actually live online. It is meant to read as your own site rather than as a list of links on somebody else's. An account is one page; a workspace account holds several, each at its own address under your handle — a main page, a tour, a release — with its own words, images and colours. Ask if you need one.

A band, a photographer, a writer, a shop, a streamer, a charity, or a person who is simply tired of retyping the same five addresses — the page does not much care what you do. It cares that the thing you want found is one tap away, and that it looks like you.

How it works

Your page is built, not served. When you publish, your profile is turned into plain HTML, CSS and images that sit on disk. Visitors are handed those files directly — no application code runs when somebody opens your page, and nothing about them is measured on the way past.

Published pages make no third-party requests and use no tracking pixels. Optional button-click counting records daily totals without cookies or visitor identifiers; nothing is sent on page load. Fonts are self-hosted. Icons are embedded in the page itself, so your visitors are never handed off to a font or analytics provider.

What you control

  • Five colours, a corner radius, a font and a button style.
  • A cover photo, a logo or wordmark, and an avatar.
  • As many link buttons as you like, each with its own icon and subtitle.
  • Whether the row of small social icons appears at all.

Your page stays a private draft until you publish it, and unpublishing takes its files away again while leaving everything in your account intact. On a workspace, each page is published and taken down on its own.

Accounts

An account needs a username, a password and an email address. We send a link to that address to confirm it: you can sign in and build your page straight away, but it cannot go live until you have followed the link. That is there to make bulk-created spam pages more trouble than they are worth, and it is the only thing confirmation is used for. You can turn on two-factor authentication from the Account page if you want a code as well as a password.

If you lose your password, use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page to request a reset link. If you lose both your authenticator and your two-factor recovery codes, contact the site operator for help.

Who runs this

This is a self-hosted install of Cardified. It is run by the person who set it up, not by a company. You can reach them through the contact form.
